Where the Craft of Agricultural Intersects with the Culinary Arts
2021 Dinners
Immersive Culinary/Agricultural Experience
Each season we embark on a series of table-at-the-farm dinners in The Barn at Neversink. Our vision is to keep the dinners as agrarian and wild as possible, while highlighting produce from right here on the farm and from the surrounding Catskill Mountains.
We will be foraging, utilizing local meats and dairy and seeking out great local food and beverage artisans as the basis for every meal. We want our guests to feel that they are a part of the whole event, something far more interactive than just a sit down dinner. To this end, we have integrated classes; so each event will focus on a particular food sourcing practice or food process, for example herding, farming, fermenting, or foraging.
Join us in the clean mountain air where the food is cooked outside by fire at the farm surrounded by woods, river, and fields.

Frequently Asked Questions
Children - These events are intended for adults. The dinners can span over hours and are not suited for young children. Thus we leave it up to the parents whether they feel their children would be able to enjoy this type of event without negatively affecting the experience of the other guests. There is no discount for children to attend.
Drinks - Most dinners include a welcome drink and a drink with dinner in the ticket price. Diners who wish to try other natural wines and local beer can do so. We sell a selection of wines by the glass, as well as cider and beer.
General Seating - Dinners are served at long communal tables with no reserved seating. After everyone sits there may be some shuffling to make sure everyone has a seat during which diners may be asked to move around so that small parties can sit together.
Reserved Seating - There is a private "chef" table on the balcony for larger groups to be able to sit together. Contact us to reserve this space for a dinner. There is an extra cost for this and it includes your own wait person.
Pets - For the enjoyment of all our guests and to meet health codes, we do not allow any pets at the farm.
Pictures - We reserve the right to photograph the event including all guests for promotional purposes. You will be asked at the door to sign a general media release. If you do not wish to be photographed, do not purchase a ticket. These are small intimate gatherings and it is not possible to crop specific attendees out.
Places to Stay - Closest motel is the Blue Hill Lodge. There are also loads of Air BnBs in the area.
Arrival Time - While we do ask to not arrive early as we are working hard to get everything ready for you, we also ask that you try to arrive on time so that you do not miss anything.
Dietary Needs - We have a vegetarian course at every event, but we cannot accommodate specific needs. Meals are served family style and the menus are designed weeks in advanced and are based on the best available local ingredients. These dinners are created for adventurous palates.
Closest Airport - Stewart International in Newburgh
Refunds - All sales are final. If you are unable to attend, we can try to connect you to someone who would purchase your seat.
Weather - It can get chilly as evening approaches so bring appropriate clothing. Blankets are provided for all attendees.
Rain Cancellation - In extreme storm situations, it may be required to cancel the event for safety. In this case, the dinner will be re-scheduled. Tickets can be transferred to the new dinner date or as credit for a future event.
